Before you start
After you order Trimix and payment is confirmed, you receive an email (and often a WhatsApp message) with your login details. You need at least one of these formats:
- Xtream Codes API — server URL, username, password, and sometimes a port number.
- M3U playlist URL — a single link that loads all channels into players like VLC or GSE.
Internet speed checklist
| Quality | Minimum speed | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| SD / HD | 5 Mbps | 10 Mbps |
| Full HD 1080p | 10 Mbps | 15 Mbps |
| 4K UHD | 20 Mbps | 25–30 Mbps |
Use a wired ethernet connection on your TV box when possible. Wi-Fi works, but walls, microwave interference and shared household traffic cause most buffering complaints we see in support.
Amazon Fire Stick (most popular)
The Fire Stick 4K and Fire TV Cube are the #1 devices Trimix subscribers use. Two players dominate: IPTV Smarters Pro (easiest for beginners) and TiviMate (best guide and power features).
Step 1 — Enable app sideloading
- On Fire Stick: Settings → My Fire TV → About — click your device name 7 times if Developer Options is hidden.
- Go to Developer Options → turn on Apps from Unknown Sources (or per-app install permission on newer Fire OS).
Step 2 — Install Downloader
- Search the Amazon Appstore for Downloader by AFTVnews and install it.
- Open Downloader, allow storage permission, and use a trusted APK URL for IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate (support can send the current link if you email us).
Step 3 — Add Trimix via Xtream Codes (Smarters Pro)
- Open IPTV Smarters Pro → Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter a playlist name (e.g. "Trimix"), then paste your server URL, username and password exactly as in your welcome email.
- Tap Add User. Wait 30–60 seconds for channels and VOD to load.
- Test one live news channel and one VOD movie before judging quality.
TiviMate on Fire Stick
- Install TiviMate via Downloader sideload.
- Add playlist → Xtream Codes → enter server, login, password.
- Enable EPG in settings after the playlist syncs. TiviMate’s grid guide is the best in class on Fire TV.
Android phone, tablet & Google TV
On phones and tablets, install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate from Google Play where available, or sideload the APK on Google TV / Chromecast devices.
- Open the player → Add playlist via Xtream Codes.
- Paste Trimix server, username, password.
- For Google TV: use a Bluetooth keyboard or the remote-friendly Smarters interface — it handles D-pad navigation better than some sideloaded apps.
NVIDIA Shield users: TiviMate with external storage for EPG cache gives the smoothest experience. Enable hardware decoding in player settings.
Samsung & LG Smart TV
Native IPTV apps vary by TV year and region. Try these in order:
- IPTV Smarters Pro — search Samsung/LG app stores; availability differs by country.
- SS IPTV (LG) — add M3U URL from your Trimix welcome email under external playlists.
- Cast from phone — if no store app works, run Smarters on your phone and cast to the TV while you arrange a Fire Stick for a permanent setup.
Samsung Tizen and LG webOS update frequently — if an app disappears from the store, sideloading is limited. A $30 Fire Stick often saves hours of TV-specific troubleshooting.
Apple TV, iPhone & iPad
Apple’s ecosystem is stricter about app sources. Reliable options:
- GSE Smart IPTV — add M3U URL or Xtream login from the welcome email.
- IPTV Smarters Pro — on iOS App Store in many regions.
- Swift IPTV or similar App Store players — verify they support Xtream API before paying for premium features.
On iPhone, download Smarters, add Xtream credentials, then use AirPlay to an Apple TV for quick testing. For daily use, install the same app directly on Apple TV via the tvOS App Store.
MAG boxes & Formuler
MAG (Stalker portal) and Formuler devices use portal URLs instead of standard Xtream in some setups. Trimix primarily delivers Xtream/M3U — contact support@trimixiptv.blog with your box model if you need MAG-specific portal details.
Formuler Z8/Z11 with MyTVOnline 2: add content source → Xtream API → enter Trimix server and login. Formuler’s built-in player handles EPG well on ethernet.
Windows, Mac & VLC
VLC (quick test)
- Open VLC → Media → Open Network Stream.
- Paste your Trimix M3U URL → Play. Channel list appears under the playlist sidebar.
IPTV Smarters desktop
Windows and Mac builds of Smarters Pro accept the same Xtream login as Fire Stick. Good for office or second-room PC viewing.
Kodi + PVR
Advanced users: install PVR IPTV Simple Client, point to the M3U URL, enable EPG XML if provided in your welcome pack. Kodi setup takes longer but offers deep customization.
EPG (TV guide) & catch-up
Electronic program guides show what is airing now and next. In Smarters: Settings → EPG → refresh. In TiviMate: long-press playlist → EPG sources → update.
Catch-up lets you replay recent broadcasts on supported channels. Look for a clock icon on channels in your player. Not every channel supports catch-up — availability is marked in the Trimix line-up where possible.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Login failed | Typo in URL, user or password | Re-copy from email; check http vs https; remove trailing slashes |
| Buffering on live TV | Wi-Fi congestion or low speed | Run speed test; use 5 GHz Wi-Fi or ethernet; lower quality to HD |
| Channels missing | Playlist still loading | Wait 2 min; force refresh playlist; restart app |
| EPG empty | EPG not refreshed | Update EPG in player settings; wait 24h after first install |
| VOD won’t play | Player codec issue | Try different player; update app; test another title |
| Works on phone, not TV | TV app outdated | Update or switch player; consider Fire Stick |
